### Why did you choose TBS? ###
I’d been following Espen (Pilot Viking) and Thor (Rosland) on Instagram for a while and loved the content they created and how they promote TBS. I even said to my wife (Faye) I’d love to work with TBS one day. Then, as the God’s would have it, TBS reached out to me on Instagram, we agreed for me to test the products first for a couple of months and across the board (customer service, speed of delivery, packaging, product quality, scent and performance) I was blown away by it all and recognised other beards (and their partners) would enjoy the experience as much as I (and Faye) do – I knew right away I could be confident and proud to work alongside The Beard Struggle team and family.

### About Owen ###
My name is Owen, born and located in England but with Irish roots too. 
As a boy I had a dream of becoming a professional footballer (soccer) and although achieving a fairly high level in youth football, I didn’t quite make the cut. Because of this, for most of my life I didn’t have a clear map on where I was heading so I just floated between sales roles feeling pretty lost but over the past few years, I have found my passion on creating content on social media across various platforms to promote how we should all be and do whatever makes us happy in life along with my blogging on men’s personal care such as beard, hair and mindset.
Having always had an entrepreneurial flame burning within me I have been involved in various business ventures and property investments however in 2020 I decided to really focus my efforts on my passion which is social media content creation. 

This focus on social media has put me in the position to work with various haircare brands due to me having my long, curly, red hair but also provided me with the opportunity to work directly with The Beard Struggle which I’m so proud of. I love to share my personal experiences, hints, tips and, have a bit of fun online as although I enjoy creating the content myself, I also hope to bring value and a smile to others too.
I have recently moved to the south coast of England (Dorset) with my wife Faye, which has been a dream we’ve both had to move to the coast for over 10 years.

### About Jason ###
Jason has overcome challenges during his athletic career, one of the biggest being when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 29 years old. Jason didn’t let that hold him back though, he was back to competing just six weeks after he was diagnosed. With careful math and planning with his diet, he does not let his condition impede his goals.

Whether he’s working in his multiple businesses in CBD, jewelry and coaching people to help reach their goals or on the IFBB competition circuit Jason goes at things with an all or nothing attitude. While he has many accomplishments when it comes to competing, some of the most notable are his multiple 3rd place ranking at the  Mr. Olympia Men’s physique in which he is the only man to ever compete in the Olympia or the Arnold Classic as Type 1 diabetic. His dream is to one day see other type 1 diabetics achieving greatness in their sports and realize they can control and mange the disease just like him. 

When Poston is not working, competing, training, or coaching he’s spending time with his fun loving, fitness forward wife Sheena. And of course it takes both of them as a team to wrangle their twin boys Jaxon and Cruz. They recently announced another boy is on the way! 

Jason has always had a short beard but recently grew his beard out longer for the first time with confidence in The Beard Struggle products to maintain a clean and groomed beard appearance.

All Hail The Allfather,

My name is Thor. I am a 40 year old man from the land of the Old Norse. I am married to a beautiful woman named Gry, in which I have two beautiful daughters. During my whole life I have been active in sports, which lead to a short bodybuilding career in my thirties. 

I've always had an unreal passion for movies, in which I get a lot of inspiration regarding shooting content for TBS. After I retired as a bodybuilder in 2015, I decided to grow a beard - I actually grew one, shaved it off which I regretted so much, and I had to grow it back.
Since then, I have never been beardless. I mean let's be serious: "Wow, that clean shaven guy looks super manly" - said no one ever. 

I started working for TBS in December of 2018 as I saw Daki Savic was using TBS on Instagram. When I met him during a fashion beard/hair show back in 2018, he had nothing but positive things to say about the brand. I on the other hand had just started my "Insta" career and needed something solid to get me noticed out "there". So I sat down and wrote an email to TBS and said: "My name is Thor and I shit lightening..." (or something in that direction). Hafthor Bjornnson is an Icelandic strongman and actor. He is the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, the 2018 and 2019 Arnold Strongman Classic - widely regarded as the most difficult major strongman competition – winner, a multiple world record holder, and arguably the strongest man to ever live.

### About Daki ###
I started my beard story when I moved to Norway for 3 years (8 years ago) to work on the oil rigs in the North Sea and I wanted that rough look. After 6 months I decided to trim the beard and hair and make a beautiful face from it and I was blown away. From that day on my life changed for the better, literally. I started getting all kinds of contracts, work opportunities and my social media grew more and more. I was one of the original bearded models before this whole beard boom around the world started. 

From that day forward I have worked with TBS as one of the first ambassadors. I live in Sweden with my girlfriend and my beautiful little daughter, I have 2 big podcasts, my own clothing brand SHURDALIFE, I’m an online coach to some awesome hard working clients, a TV-host, a published model for Burberry and I have done catwalks for Philipp Plein at the Milano Fashion Week and much more. ### About Daniel ###
Daniel Zigler broke his neck in 2006 while attending CSULB. After surgeries and recovery, he later graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. Daniel also decided to compete in bodybuilding after his injury and recovery. He was quite successful. His career included winning the most prestigious natural bodybuilding competition, the Natural Olympia. 

While competing, Daniel wore a beard proudly, which is, or rather was, taboo within the industry. This unintentionally helped bring about notoriety.

In 2017 Daniel joined The Beard Struggle, and has been a great contributor within the community. As of late he continues to follow his passions for travel, surfing, snowboarding, and beard care, along with mentoring clients about health, fitness, and competing.

### Why did you choose TBS? ###
I have been contacted by almost a dozen beard product companies and most of them fell short. The products didn't do anything for my beard and some actually made it worse. As well, more often than not the scent didn't meet my expectations.

Then I saw my all-time beard idol Daki Savic was working with The Beard Struggle. I reached out to him and TBS and the rest is history!

### About Emil ###
I’m a full-blood Norwegian Viking, a prizefighter, and I’m signed with the biggest fighting organization in the world, UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

I live for the unique feeling, the moment of bliss that you only get when you put everything on the line in order to achieve greatness! 

But let’s get a little less pompous. 

Once in a while I rock out with my band Autokarma, I’m what I like to call an extra guitarist and bearded hype man. 

I just became a father to my first born son, Atlas. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but everything worth having in life doesn’t come easy, just like a magnificent beard. 

Classic rock is my main jam. With enough caffeine to kill a small animal rushing through my veins I love rocking out in the morning!

Pizza, ice cream and fresh pastries are my weakness.

I’m honest, I suck at texting back and I might be an adrenaline junkie.

### About Espen ###
Born in Stavanger, I was raised in various parts of Sandnes in the south west part of Norway. 

My childhood dream was to become a pilot, so I moved to Florida in 2011 to fulfill that dream.

I attended flight school, and stayed there until I finished at the end of 2014. When I arrived back in Norway, I moved to a small town surrounded by beautiful nature. It was then I started my adventures, and fell more and more in love with photography. 

I started posting pictures on Instagram from my adventures around where I live. I started to play around with being in front of the camera rather than behind it after a few years, and all of a sudden I was more of a "model" than photographer.

This progressed even more after I joined The Beard Struggle in 2019, and eventually made me fall more in love with acting. 

I took the name "Pilot Viking" back when I created my Instagram in 2014, as I felt it was fitting to my carrier in aviation; but kept the name since I changed from planes to drones.

My name is Jens Dalsgaard, also known as Jens The Beast.

I am 37 years old, and I'm from Denmark. I have been lifting weights for 23 years and today I'm running an online coaching business, where we help people change their lives from negative to positive - just like I once did. Other than that I invest in stocks and property.

But before flipped my life around, I was involved with a gang and was sent to prison for 5 years. I live in Copenhagen with my girlfriend, Frederikke, and our two chihuahuas called Angel and Fenris, yes - like the Big Bad Wolf from Norse mythology. Meet Kevin, aka Creekman. And when you do, it’s understandable if your first thought is about his physical appearance. Good-looking, built, and covered in ornate tattoos, Creekman is fascinating at first glance, but there’s a lot more than meets the eye. He’s also a man with a story about an incredible weight loss journey and an unbelievable transformation.

Born in Switzerland and raised in Germany, Creekman is passionate about rock, metal, and tattoos, and has always had the dream of moving to America. ### About Jake ###
Born and Raised in North Carolina, USA, Jake is more than just the typical guy with a fancy beard. Growing up in New Bern, NC, Jake was a full time student-athlete at New Bern High School, where he gained national attention for his abilities in the sport of Football. By his senior year, Jake was talking to several Universities, including LSU, Univ. of South Carolina, NC State, UNC, ECU and several others. But Jake was more than just some "dumb jock". He also graduated high school with a 3.4 GPA, thanks to both of his parents being educators. His mother even became a Superintendent of a School District before officially retiring. 

Jake went to the College of William and Mary out of high school in 2010 on a football scholarship where he would stay for a year and a half before deciding that that was not where he wanted to be. Jake had become an LSU fan during middle school and always wanted to go there. So in December of 2011, Jake informed Head Coach Jimmye Laycock that he wanted to take a leap of faith and chase his dreams. He would then spend the next year and a half at community colleges to get his Associates Degree and in June of 2013 Jake officially became an LSU Tiger. 

Jake played football for the Tigers in 2013 and 2014. Getting to be teammates with some of the sports' best players such as Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Leonard Fournette, Jamal Adams, and many more. After completing his collegiate career, Jake would attempt to go professional by attending two "Pro Days" at LSU, but this is where his football career would end, and his social media career would begin.

After college, Jake didn't have a real idea of what he wanted to do, he just knew he was meant for greatness. He started pushing social media hard, created a YouTube channel, and in a few short years Jake would muster up a following of over 3 million across several platforms, and is known worldwide by fans of all ages. 

If you were to ask Jake what the most important thing he has learned in his life, it would be to always follow your heart and to take chances. Never settle.
